Directors, Officers & Executive Director of FOCC

Introduction

Directors

FOCC is governed by a Board of Directors which meets regularly to determine the policies and objectives of the charity as well as to plan FOCC Events.

The Board of Directors consists of individuals who volunteer their time on behalf of FOCC. All directors are now or have been affiliated with the Clinical Center and/or the National Institutes of Health.

The organizational (legal) documents [articles of incorporation and bylaws] which created FOCC authorize a Board of Directors of up to twenty voting directors and as many non-voting directors as the Board selects from time-to-time. There currently are eighteen voting and two non-voting directors (as shown in the list of directors set forth below).

You can see a list of people who are the current voting and non-voting directors below.

Officers

Under its bylaws, the officers of FOCC consist of a President, a First Vice President, a Second Vice president, and a Treasurer. It is the responsibility and function of the officers to carryout the policies decided by the Board of Directors.

You can see the names of the people who are the current officers of FOCC, and their titles, below.

Executive Director

The day-to-day operations of FOCC are administered by the Executive Director, who reports directly to and who acts under the direction of the President of FOCC. The Executive Director is appointed by and is responsible to the Board of Directors.
